What lies beneath

For the third and final project of the year we were able to set our own personal brief. Finding life ‘under the sea’ exciting, fresh and party unknown I decided to focus my brief around fish, coral, water, shells and other sea creatures. Here are some photographs taken during a visit to the Sealife Centre in Birmingham, this proved inspirational as was an eye opener for my drawing. 

 

 

 

From this photographs I then began my visual research with the use of an A3 and A4 sketchbook, allowing myself to consider scale, medium, composition and possible imagery to the maximum potential
